I am Dhruva Sagar

When I was 15 year old. My dream was very simple. I wanted to write code. Open Source code, more specifically. I have been chasing that dream for a long time (1)~20 years professionally, significantly longer if you count the time since I was writing code in school / college . Still at it. That’s what keeps me going.

Working with me

Beyond the blog, I work with early-stage teams as a fractional CTO and technical advisor — architecture, roadmap, hiring, and the hard decisions that are difficult to make alone. I also take on scoped engagements: modernization across stacks (Ruby/Rails included), technical audits, and code reviews — I’m a polyglot by practice, not by preference.

In 2024–25 I completed the CTO Program at the Indian School of Business — technology strategy, innovation management, and digital transformation — and I lead delivery as Principal Consultant at Tarkalabs. Much of what I’m building now — lattice, an engineering knowledge framework, and org-fractional-cto — is available on GitHub.
